Coolidge, AZ, USA - International Air Response Visit International Air Response, Coolidge, AZ, USA The last stop-off point on our Arizonan adventure came when we finally arrived at Coolidge, despite the best efforts of the sat-nav to dunk us in a canal and bringing us to more than one dead end!

Marana-Regional (Avra Valley) - ATW Aviation Visit ATW Aviation, Avra Valley, AZ, USA Following our visit to the airfield two days early when we undertook our AMARG and Pinal Air Park overflights, a follow-up visit occurred on our way back to Phoenix when we had an appointment with ATW Aviation, who specialise in military type and aerobatics aircraft maintenance and restoration.

AMARG - Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ, USA - AMARG Bus Tour AMARG Bus Tour, DM AFB, AZ, USA When we got back to the spot though, it was all too apparent that the sun wasn't going to be coming good for us until around the time we'd need to start our journey back to Phoenix, so I suggested doing the AMARG bus tour again - this time from the other side of the bus, and again this was greeted with full approval from my fellow travellers.

Marana-Regional (Avra Valley), AZ, USA - Fighting Classics Visit Fighting Classics, Avra Valley, AZ, USA After breakfast in the airfield restaurant we headed across to Skippy's friend, Mike "Major" McDougall's Fighting Classics operation. Mike's main project at the moment is this hangared two-seat A-4 Skyhawk that actually started life as a single-seat example, destined for the Royal Malaysian Air Force. It was never delivered however.
