RAF
Brize Norton - 28th February
2005
They
say that variety is the spice
of life and up to this point
I'd not made much effort to
shoot any of the RAF's Air
Transport assets, so a trip
to Brize was in order.
The
day in question was bitterly
cold, and in the main overcast,
but a little light was thrown
onto proceedings from time
to time.
While
it wasn't ultra-busy, activity
certainly was varied!

Finally
some of the residents showed
signs of life. First up was
one of 216 Sqn's Tristar C2As.

Following
hotly on the three-holer's
heels was one of Vickers'
Finest, the mighty VC10.

The
Flight Checker King Air arrived...

...
and one of 10 Sqn's VC10 C1Ks
departed.

When
it started to snow we took
the hint and called it a day!
