RAF Cottesmore - 21st September 2005

The prospect of a lovely late-summer evening tempted me, along with Sammy and my parents to Cottesmore.

Arriving around 1600 the circuit was pretty much constantly busy with based Harriers and also a dirty old NATO E-3A, who performed several overshoots and rollers.

We hung around into the twilight in the hope of getting some interest shots as the light faded, but it wasn't really to be.

The great thing about Cottesmore is the ability to move around to both sides of the approach. A really great base when there's a bit of flying going on.
