Midland Air Museum, Coventry - 23/08/2007

Following the frustrations of the previous day I felt the need to get out to somewhere 'guaranteed'. A quick look at MetCheck suggested that the central and western parts of the country would be bathed in sun, so a visit to Coventry's Midland Air Museum was the order of the day.

Clear blue skies all the way there then the second we set foot outside the indoor part of the collection the sun decided to disappear behind a huge bank of cloud that had rolled in in the interim.... I could not believe it....!

We wandered round and eventually the sun rematerialised. Must admit I struggled quite a bit with conditions. I blame it on a lack of practice of having to shoot in the sun!!

Nice to see the F-4C getting some TLC and the Danish Hunter has been painted in a 'Ripple style' scheme.

As always a nice way to spend a few hours.
