East
Midlands Airport - 19/12/2006
The
plan was to spend the day
at BAe Warton with my old
mate Geoff
Hibbert but
sadly much of the UK was shrouded
in fog. We did spend the morning
there but only saw a single
PC-9 fly, so with reports
of better weather at East
Midlands, and some diverts
from elsewhere, we decided
to cut and run at lunchtime.
We arrived
just before 3pm, so there
wasn't an abundance of light
left, but we did get some
nice movements, with no less
than 29 aircraft on the deck
when we arrived!
