RAF Fairford - 12th July 2007

Another grey start to the day, but this time the sun did break through later on.

Having had a really good afternoon on Wednesday at the 'West End', today would prove to be more than a tad frustrating, with a number of items coming all the way to the end, only to be turned around on the runway, rather than making use of the loop. We all know the risks when we head down that way, but to have nice stuff (like the Greek A-7s) come so near and yet so far, makes it doubly hard to take.

There were a few quiet periods during the day, and we (virtually) had the football confiscated, so there are a few shots of some of my friends included in this set.

Off the airfield about 1800 and straight to "The Cow" for a liquid refreshment.
