RAF Fairford - 13th July 2007

A day that started badly with grey skies, drizzle and an arrival five minutes after the Italian Pelicans had arrived.... To be honest, it didn't get much better from there. The Western Park and View only saw action primarily from VIP flights, plus a few choppers, though the conditions created some wonderful effects for the F-15E solo.

Eventually the heavier rain that was forecast arrived, and with it looking set to stay for the rest of the day, I decided to call it a day and make my homeward journey a few hours early.
