RAF Lakenheath - 02/04/2007

Easterly winds and forecast blue skies forced me to have another bash at 06 departure shots at Lakenheath.

Not only did I have the ever present 'easterly haze' to deal with, there was also the small matter of flying not getting underway until lunchtime... Thankfully Mark Meades was also there and we had a good chat.

With a significant number of aircraft now airborne, Mark suggested we headed down to the other end to try to get some landers. We did find one spot that looked promising, but the conditions were so unhelpful that we chose not to pursue it for too long.

Another one of those frustrating 06 days that promise so much and deliver so little...
