Little Gransden - 21/08/2008

In addition to Sywell's press preview for this Sunday's airshow, yesterday also saw Little Gransden host their own.

With the 2007 event having raised £17,175 for Children in Need, it is hoped that the 2008 instance will see that figure increase further.

Amongst other aircraft expected at the airfield on Sunday the 31st of August are the Lancaster, Seafire, P-40, P-51, Me-109, Pilatus P-2 and the Fiat G-46.

Yesterday's event was my first opportunity to see the Spartan 7W Executive, a recent arrival from the other side of the pond. She, along with the Extra 300 was put through her paces by resident Mark Jefferies.
