RAF
Mildenhall - 23rd February
2005
With
snowfall overnight and it
lingering into the late morning,
I decided that Sammy and myself
would head to Mildenhall after
I collected him from play
school.
There
was quite a bit of heavylift
transport on the ground but
sadly none of it moved during
our time there.
KC-135s
were the main order of the
day with a couple of 92nd
ARW (Fairchild AFB, WA) birds
arriving, and one 100th ARW
resident arriving and another
departing.
Conditions
were highly changeable with
lots of strange skies, odd
snow flurries and some blue
skies and sunshine thrown
into the mix.
