Nellis AFB, NV, USA - 6th February 2007

With our direct Virgin Atlantic flight from Gatwick to Las Vegas-McCarran arriving around 1300, we still had time to catch the last rays of daylight at Nellis, and that happened to coincide with the start of the evening wave of Red Flag 07-2 departures.

The light had dropped to non-existant by the time the fast jets started to go, so we called it a day and headed for our hotel for the night - the Stratosphere.
