Salisbury
Plain - 30th August 2007
Day
two of our trip to the Plain.
The day started with us trying
to catch some strip landings
by Hercules at Upavon, but
sadly, for whatever reason
that didn't happen, so we
headed back to our usual haunt.
As
we arrived the ETPS 'raspberry
ripple' Lynx that had evaded
us the day before was working
the western end, along with
an army example. Needless
to say, by the time we were
in position both had departed....
The air was blue. All rather
ironic really when you consider
the way the rest of the day
panned out.
Said
ETPS Lynx came back no less
than three further times!
We also got another army one,
but aside from some drops
from a Herc in the distance,
that was our only traffic
all day.
