Salisbury Plain - 28/08/2008

Dunny, the boy and myself spent a good chunk of today on the Plain. Weather was much worse than the forecasts I'd look at, with us being in the cloud when we arrived this morning... The dampness did at least cease, but the light was still grey and horrible, at least until I got to Abingdon on the way back, when it was like someone had flicked a lightswitch!

Lots of stuff out and about, but mainly in locations that aren't the greatest for photos. There were a couple of nearly, but not quite situations too...

We did manage to catch the Chinook as he completed his display at the JHC Families Day at Netheravon.

A stop off at one of the confined areas on the way home produced this Squirrel.

That was the sum total of what I managed to get out of the day... Win some, lose some.
