Schwenningen - 10th July 2008

Having spent the morning at Laupheim for their Exercise ELITE 2008 Press Day we travelled down towards our destination for the evening, stopping off at Das Internationale Luftfahrtmuseum in Schwenningen on the journey.

The collection comprises predominantly ex-Luftwaffe airframes with a few real gems amongst them. Unfortunately a hailstorm of biblical proportions wreaked untold damage to many of the aircraft some time back, leaving many canopies smashed and a few airframes with not-inconsiderable dents in them.

An extremely pleasant way to spend an hour.
