2005
A
second visit to Waddington
in three days was prompted
following another overnight
stop by a batch of Armee de
l'air Alphajets.
The
light was really lovely and
there was strong evidence
of the overnight frost as
the first couple taxied out.




Mid-morning
the runways were switched,
which provided a great opportunity
to shoot the specially marked
E-3D.


One
of 45(R)Sqn's King Airs from
Cranwell flew a few overshoots
before the last Alphajet finally
got away - sadly going rather
high as he did so.

If
only the conditions were like
that all the time...
